Dr. Fudge will be a teaching a new biomechanics course in the spring semester at Chapman called Life’s Physical World: from Molecules to Mammoths. This course will explore how organisms interact with their physical environment and the principles that govern these interactions. Students will use biomechanical concepts and tools to investigate questions such as How do amoebas crawl? How do fleas jump? How do geckos walk on ceilings? The course will end with a unit on BioInspired Design.
