Welcome to the Owens lab. We are a bioinorganic chemistry and protein engineering group with research interests that span biochemistry, inorganic chemistry and structural biology. Our research currently focuses on two areas, the metalloenzyme nitrogenase in bacterial nitrogen fixation and developing enzymes for the food industry.
