Current Research:

Dr. Nauli’s lab focuses on studying the role that primary cilia plays in polycystic kidney disease (PKD). Currently, I am performing in vitro studies on several cell lines (cell lines with abnormal cilia in comparison to WT cell lines that have normal cilia function). Several pharmaceutical agents will be used to assess the potential role that they may play in ciliotherapy, a term used referring to restoring cilia function.
