MURRAY (67) Bonnie’s dad. Once the life of the party, Murray now lives in a fog of confusion. With most of his memories out of reach, he is often frustrated by his own mind. But he finds joy in the presence of his family—because even if the memories are gone, the emotions remain.
“DAD” (40s) Bonnie’s AI dad. Still the life of the party, “Dad’s” disembodied voice carries all the humor, passion, and wisdom that made Murray such a comforting presence in Bonnie’s life. He truly is a recreation of her father in his prime—except now, he’s just a voice in the walls.
KATHLEEN “KATHY” (65) Bonnie’s mom. Fiercely pragmatic and never one to take shit from anyone, Kathy has shouldered the emotional and physical burden of caring for her husband alone. That strength has come at a cost—she’s tired, worn down, and unraveling.
