Genre: Comedy
Synopsis: Louise Steger is at her wits’ end. Her kids don’t listen to her, the other Moms on the PTA don’t listen to her, her husband Brian is sleepwalking through life, and to top it all off, her car just broke down. Luckily, Louise bought her car from Bud’s Used Cars of Southeastern Verona, which offers a generous refund guarantee, except when she goes to the dealership to claim it, she’s juggled between waiting rooms and stalled at every step. Eventually, she’s informed that they need to perform an inspection of the vehicle before a decision can be made, and is quickly sent on her way without any explanation as to when or how that will happen.
After an explosive fight with her husband, Louise comes home to find a Claims Agent from the dealership, who has broken into her house to make the inspection without her knowledge. After a heated back and forth, the Agent finishes the inspection, and much to Louise’s chagrin, informs her that it will be another two to three weeks before they reach a decision. Finally, after weeks of waiting and being strung along, Louise is curtly told that her claim has been denied. Unable to accept this Louise launches a war against the dealership, that rapidly escalates to physically breaking into the building for evidence when it becomes clear that Bud is running an illicit drug operation. Things change however, when Louise’s daughter Katie is kidnapped by the dealership in retribution for Louise’s prying. Now Louise must find a way to save her daughter, and in the process take Bud down and finally get her money back.
