Cast Breakdown:
PHOEBE (20, POC): a sophomore English major. She’s a dedicated writer who struggles with self-esteem and navigating her personal relationships.
CLARK (16, POC, imaginary): a time traveler. She is young, presumptuous, and sure of herself- the manifestation of the teenage desire to escape.
KAY (33, POC, imaginary): an ambitious writer. She is brilliant, harsh, and unapproachable. Phoebe aspires towards her success, but does not like her- the manifestation of Phoebe’s professional goals.
WILHELMINA (65, POC, imaginary): a grizzled private eye. Despite her dark past and actions, she possesses great empathy, but has very little patience for bullshit. She is wise, humble, and steady.
PROFESSOR GRANT  (48, POC): Phoebe’s writing professor/advisor. She is dry and straightforward, steady and practical. Phoebe respects her, but fears her more than she should.
