\nDEREK (32M) prefers the title \u201ccreative\u201d to \u201cfailing karaoke-bar rapper.\u201d He takes the utmost pride in his plethora of crafts and is determined to share his art with the world, no matter what it takes.
\nLINDA (55F) is a mother who enjoys performing theater ballads at the local karaoke bar. She is a kind and supportive woman, although a little out of touch with the modern music scene.
\nJULIANNE (60F) is Derek\u2019s blindly supportive mother who has always known he was going to grow up to be a star. She is really excited about this documentary and is just as convinced as Derek that his big break is around the corner.
\nDAVE (64M) is a pharmaceutical salesman that also happens to be Derek\u2019s father. He is not as excited about Derek\u2019s failing career and doesn\u2019t understand exactly what the documentary will do to help him.
\nLANA (36F) an eccentric model that only helped Derek because of his so-called \u201cnuanced\u201d vision. She is rather disappointed with the objectifying results.
