The 3-hour workshop offered a fascinating look at current research and practice in third-language acquisition, a field of growing interest in language-teaching pedagogy in the United States, and in Southern California in particular.<\/p>\n<p>The instructors who attended came from various institutions from around Southern California, such as: Pepperdine University, California State University Long Beach, Santiago Canyon College,\u00a0Mt San Antonio College, Baxter\u00a0High School, Spectrum Languages, and Fondazione Italia.
