Chapman University\u2019s Ferrucci Institute for Italian Experience and Research<\/a> is partnering with the Italian Cultural Institute in Los Angeles<\/a> to bring you Ferrucci Fellow Nick Gabriel<\/a>\u2019s new adaptation of SIX CHARACTER IN SEARCH OF AN AUTHOR.<\/p>\n

In an effort to attract modern audiences to Pirandello’s work, Gabriel’s adaptation contemporizes the language and circumstances of the play while
\nmaintaining the essence of Pirandello’s original vision. Even as he
\nmasterfully encourages audiences to consider the relationship between
\nreality and perception, Pirandello poignantly weaves together themes of
\nnegligence and redemption in this seminal Existentialist comedy. We are proud to say that the cast for this event is entirely made up of former and current Chapman University\u2019s Theatre Performance program.<\/p>\n

There will be two different showings of this adaptation.<\/p>\n

1. The first showing will be at the Los Angeles Italian Cultural Institute on Friday, September 27th at 6 pm<\/strong>. You can RSVP online through this site (https:\/\/sixcharacters.eventbrite.com<\/a>)<\/p>\n

2. The second showing will be on Sunday, September 29th, in Chapman University\u2019s Memorial Hall.<\/strong> No ticket or reservation is required. It will be an open-seating event that will start at 5:00 PM.<\/p>\n
