Sara Delucchi is the recipient of the 2016 Renaissance Lodge scholarship in Italian Studies. The scholarship is intended to recognize students who distinguish themselves academically in Italian Studies, and at the same time who manifest dedication to the wellbeing of the Italian community both on and outside the campus. The Renaissance Lodge of Orange County is dedicated to promoting a positive image of Americans of Italian Heritage within the framework of American society through involvement in cultural, educational, social and charitable endeavors.

sara“My name is Sara Delucchi and I am a third year student at Chapman University. I study health science with a minor in Italian studies, and I hope to become an occupational therapist after graduation. I have been a part of the Italian program for three years, and currently serve as the president of the on-campus Italian club. The Italian program has provided me wonderful opportunities for growth, and a network that has truly shaped my college experience for the better. I appreciate all that the Chapman Italian Program has given me during my time at the University, and I look forward to my continued involvement.”
