She received her Ph.D. from the University of California, Riverside and was a postdoctoral fellow at Harvard T. H. Chan School of Public Health. Dr. Boehm\u2019s research examines whether positive psychological characteristics such as optimism are associated with improved cardiovascular health. She is also interested in the behavioral and biological processes that are relevant for cardiovascular health. After finishing her undergraduate degree, she plans to get a Ph.D. in psychology. As a curious and passionate person, she hopes to travel the world while exploring and learning new things. After finishing her undergraduate degree, she plans on pursuing clinical work in the field of child developmental psychology.
