The DRIES Lab advances STEM education research through rigorous inquiry, innovative design, and collaborative exploration. To this end, we:

• Discover effective pedagogical strategies and learning environments that foster deep understanding and engagement in STEM disciplines.
• Reimagine approaches to STEM education, challenging conventional methods to create more inclusive and impactful learning experiences.
• Inquire about the cognitive, social, and affective factors that influence STEM learning, employing both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
• Empower educators and researchers with evidence-based tools and resources to enhance STEM teaching and learning practices.
• Share research findings and translate them into actionable strategies that promote equitable and sustainable STEM education outcomes.
