This humble public servant and Digital Humanities student at Chapman University presents her compliments to you, dear reader, and has the honor to invite your attention to this blog!
I am a U.S. Foreign Service Officer enrolled in the MA in War and Society program (2020-2021) as part of a collaboration between the U.S. Department of State and Chapman University. I have had the privilege of working with the U.S. Foreign Service for 11 years at U.S. Embassies and Consulates worldwide including Hong Kong, Pakistan, Mexico, and South Sudan. As a Foreign Service Officer, I specialize in public diplomacy, using cultural, academic, media, and technology tools to engage communities and build mutual understanding. Anything shared on this blogsite is personal in nature and does not represent the official position of the U.S. Government.
This blog presently serves as a platform for practicing, reflecting, and sharing what I am learning for my Chapman University course on “Introduction to Digital Humanities.” I welcome any constructive comments you wish to provide in reaction to my blog under the “Demarché” section.
I avail myself of this opportunity of assuring the reader of my highest consideration for your thoughtful engagement with this site.
