I am Brian Glaser — I teach at Chapman University in Orange, California. I have a doctoral degree from UC Berkeley’s English Department and, in addition to my twenty-one years teaching at Chapman, I have taught at universities in Europe and Latin America.

I have published seven books of poems and twenty-five essays on poetry and I have a social practice centering poetry therapy. At the center of my work is love for poetry’s therapeutic force. Now, more than ever, we need the openness and thoughtfulness that poetry and therapy nourish.
